If you're game for some monster hunting, then Dragon Age: The Veilguard has plenty of quests you'll enjoy, including the "Gate" series of quests. In the Gate Of Pale Reflections, you'll go to Solitude's Edge in the Hossberg Wetlands, where plenty of creatures and quests lurk at every corner.

Luckily, this quest is located along the same route as the quest Pinnacle of Its Kind, which takes you to Solitude's Edge to confront another enemy. The most efficient way to tackle this quest is to follow Pinnacle Of Its Kind until you reach Solitude's Edge. While you'll need to be high-level, it's still incredibly prudent to wait until you can do both at once, since the boss spawns are adjacent.

How To Defeat Amarell The Unwoven

The best way to reach Solitude's Edge in the Hossberg Wetlands is by following the steps to Pinnacle of Its Kind, which you'll need to do to unlock the Unbound Trophy/Achievement anyway.

Alternatively, you can fast-travel to the nearby beacon if you've already finished that quest.

You'll find a large Blight Cyst protruding from a ruined building in the southwestern corner of Solitude's Edge, which houses the champion we need to defeat.

Destroy the Blight Cyst and awaken Amarell the Unwoven from their prison.

Amarell is a level 35 champion with Necrotic Imbued and Exploding qualities, is weak against Fire, and resists Necrotic damage.

Inflicting the burning effect is an excellent method to help you defeat Amarell quickly.

One of the best strategies for surviving and finishing this ASAP is pinning Amarell back in the small destroyed building where it spawned from the Blight Cyst.

Staggering Amarell is much easier in this enclosed space, and doing so will leave the champion vulnerable to a barrage of follow-up attacks.

If you time the Stagger in tandem with burning the creature, Amarell's health will evaporate in seconds, leaving you as the clear victor.

Don't forget to collect the Champion Essence once the battle is over.

What Rewards Do You Get From Gate Of Pale Reflections?

Once Amarell is defeated, you'll earn the following rewards:

• 350 XP
• Etheric Remnants
• 50 Grey Wardens Strength

You can also find a large chest near where Amarell spawned, which should contain a unique weapon according to your class. We got the Optimist's Span as a rogue, which boasts the following effects:

• Deals 100 percent more damage when attacking from the air
• Deals 30 percent less damage when attacking from the ground
