While we’ve not played enough to say exactly what your decision changes, we know it impacts the whole campaign. I picked Faith, and my people were blessing the generator in the first mission, so your choices in the prologue really matter.

According to Game and Design Director Jacob Stokalski, this choice “sets you up with a unique set of factions for the whole playthrough.” There’s no right or wrong answer, and several other parts of the story offer similar choices.
