For the MLH Hack Your Portfolio Hackathon 2024, we developed BookTracker, inspired by our own love of reading and the desire to keep track of the many books we have finished over the years. As avid readers, we wanted to create a digital space where book lovers could log their completed books, reflect on their literary journey, and share their progress with others. Our vision was to make reading more engaging and to build a community around the shared love of books.
BookTracker is a user-friendly platform that allows readers to log the books they have finished, creating a personal record of their literary adventures. Users can add various details about each book, including the title, author, date finished, and personal notes or ratings. This not only helps users keep track of their reading habits but also encourages them to reflect on their reading experiences and share insights with fellow readers.

BookTracker is more than just a logbook—it's a gateway to a vibrant community of readers who are passionate about books and eager to share their literary journeys. Whether you're an occasional reader or a dedicated bibliophile, BookTracker offers a space to celebrate and reflect on the books that have shaped your life.
