Android AVD Manager "OK" button fails? ADT 22.6.0 Ultimate Solution

Unable to Create or Modify Android Virtual Devices (AVD) from Eclipse with ADT 22.6While attempting to create or edit an AVD from within Eclipse, you may encounter an issue where the "OK" button appears clickable but has no effect. This problem has been identified as a bug with ADT 22.6.0 and was addressed in subsequent builds.
Possible WorkaroundIf you use ADT 22.6.0, you can try the following workaround:
Download and install the latest ADT v22.6.1.- Open "AVD manager.exe" directly from the Android SDK to create a new AVD.
- From the Tools menu in Eclipse, select Manage AVD..." and open the AVD Manager from the SDK Manager.
This issue has been fixed in ADT 22.6.1, so it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version.
Others DiscoveryThe way you create an AVD from the command line tool may also not be available in ADT 22.6.0.
- Presumably the parameters passed when starting the AVD Manager from Eclipse cause these problems.
- Android project members have confirmed the issue and promised to resolve it in the upcoming release of ADT. While waiting for a resolution, it is recommended to roll back to an earlier version of ADT (for example, 22.3.0).
