At the Lunar Lake launch event yesterday, Intel promised that many manufacturers will be unveiling products featuring the new Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors. Acer is one of them, and the company has just unveiled a bunch of new laptops. Among all of them is the new Swift 14 AI.
Acer recently launched the same exact model with Qualcomm Snapdragon X series processors (available on Amazon), which is in the Copilot+ PC program. The Intel Lunar Lake variant also meets the requirements, and with this, it joins among the slimmest laptops that support Microsoft's new suite of AI features.
The Lunar Lake Acer Swift 14 AI has proprietary AI applications as well. As the brand says, they are there to enhance productivity and security. When it comes to the core specs, the new laptop can be configured with any of the four Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors:
Among these, the Core Ultra 7 options feature the top-end Intel Arc 140V iGPU, making them a great pick for those who want to do some gaming. The Core Ultra 5 processors, on the other hand, have the slightly less capable Arc 130V iGPU.
As for the screen, the Intel Lunar Lake Swift 14 AI can be configured with a 14-inch 2K or 3K OLED panel. Both have a 90 Hz refresh rate, HDR True Black 500 certification, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. These should lead to an enjoyable viewing experience.
Other highlights of the new Acer Swift 14 AI include up to 32 GB of LPPDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, 1440p QHD webcam, DTS:X Ultra audio, a decent number of ports, WiFi 7, and a decent number of ports. The laptop will start at €1,199 (around $1325) and is expected to be available later this month.
